This Is NOT it
Testify To Love

The first ever time I heard the song it gave me goosebumps. Now, when I here it, it still does. It is an amazingly written song and the same could be said of it composition of musical arrangement. I could listen to the song all day an not get tired of it. Originally sang by Avalon - who happens to be one of my favorite Christian band of all time - vocals were nothing short of superb. However, one line it that song always grips me.

“I’ll be a witness in the silences when words are not enough”

Wht exactly does being a with in the silence mean ? when words are NOT enough ? Although almost never failing to get teary-eyed after each time hearing the song, this line seems to linger on for a little while more those minor tears.

Sometimes, we try to do too much. I’m, the kind of person that whether I’m in church, in college, at home and anywhere at all, I HAVE to do something or think about church stuff (eg: planning a drama, or think of ways to get the children ministry more alive, or about the next camp etc). And then when all is over, and my mind is blank for a quick minute, I realize, “Hey, how do I witness Jesus when there’s no church stuff to do any longer ?”.

Yup, sometimes it is better for people to just see or hear what YOU say than for you do a whole parade church to get them to Jesus. When there’s silences and words are not enough, it’s our job (well, I don’t like the word job so..) mandate to testify a love that has, I believed, touched so many of us. Why do we sometimes waste, yes, waste the amazing love Jesus has for us ? We exchange it for silent moment for ourselves ? I am first to admit - *points at me* - totally guilty !! But you know what, we all needa take time to realize this kind of stuff happens =) That why God speak in so many ways, even blogs and tumblr ones *hinthint* =)

God bless, guys (and gals)

With luv,
